ESPN 760 high school reporters Wells Dusenbury and Ken LaVicka prognosticate on which colleges the area's top non-commits will choose:
Jay-nard Bostwick, DT, Centennial
Deciding between: Alabama, Florida, Miami
ESPN 760 Rank: #3
Bostwick has played his recruitment very close to the vest. He was in Gainesville this weekend and I think Will Muschamp getting the last word with Bostwick will seal the deal.
History has shown that when Nick Saban comes calling, it's hard to say "no". Saban's late January visit to Port St. Lucie will be what propels Bostwick to the defending national champion Crimson Tide.
Keith Bryant, DT, Atlantic
Deciding between: Miami, Florida State, USC
ESPN 760 Rank: #4
Duse: Florida State
Bryant was once a Miami commit but later backed off that pledge. I think he ends up signing with FSU.
The nation's most absurd recruitment will come full circle when former Miami commit Bryant ends up sticking with his initial gut instinct. Bryant, and all of his attention-seeking ways, will go to Coral Gables.
Malik Brown, DE, Dwyer
Deciding between: Syracuse, Tennessee, USF
ESPN 760 Rank: #9
Brown has been a long-time Syracuse commit but Tennessee and new head coach Butch Jones have been heavily pursuing Brown. I think their persistence pays off and he selects "Rocky Top".
Tennessee or Syracuse...what would choose? Any sane 18-year old would be headed to Knoxville in that spot, and that's what Brown will do. The Vols' strong courtship in the past few weeks will do the trick.
D.J. Juste, QB, Port St. Lucie
Deciding between: Buffalo, FAU, Illinois
ESPN 760 Rank: #26
FAU and Buffalo both want Juste as a QB, while Illinois wants him to move to WR. Juste wants to be a signal-caller in college and playing close to home, in Boca Raton, will be the determining factor.
This has been a long time coming. Juste has always had an affinity for FAU, Carl Pelini and his staff have always been high on Juste. Juste will be an Owl, and will get a shot to play QB.
